I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, as well as a nationally certified therapist in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, I am trained in Forensic Interviewing and have 18 years of experience working in the field child sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect. I am the co-founder of H.O.P.E. (Horses Offering Personal Empowerment www.horsesandhope.com) an Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning program; and am trained in Natural Lifemanship, and EAGALA certified. I present at National Conferences on the topics of Trauma Informed Care, Equine Assisted Therapy, and am the co-author of the EAGALA endorsed book, “EquiPower- Treating Trauma with the Power and Sensitivity of Horses.” After 25 years of working with horses, my passion is partnering with horses and the outdoors in order to empower individuals to develop healthy relationships with self and others.
