I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, as well as a Nationally Certified Therapist in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, I am a practitioner in Trust-Based Relational Intervention(TBRI), trained in EMDR, Psychodrama, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Experiential Therapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Forensic Interviewing. With nearly 25 years in the treatment industry, my clinical experience includes direct client care, executive leadership roles at inpatient, outpatient, and outdoor experiential programs. In 2010 I founded Hope and Horses - www.hopeandhorses.com an Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning program. I am Instructor for Natural Lifemanship, as well as advanced trained in EAGALA(Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). I present at National Conferences on the topics of Trauma Informed Care, Equine Assisted Therapy, and am the co-author of the EAGALA endorsed book, “EquiPower- Treating Trauma with the Power and Sensitivity of Horses.”
